Volkswagen Assurance Package
Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) is Volkswagen's comprehensive ownership programme , designed to deliver complete peace of mind throughout your ownership journey. Combining a manufacturer warranty, scheduled service maintenance, and 24-hour roadside assistance into one seamless package, VAP ensures your Volkswagen is cared for by certified technicians using genuine parts. Designed to give you confidence in ownership, the Volkswagen Assurance Package consists of the following benefits:

VAP from 1 July 2026
- For new VAP package for vehicles registered after 1 July 2026, standard manufacturer warranty coverage now extended by 3 years, subject to a mileage limit of 150,000 km.
- Coverage mirrors the Volkswagen manufacturer warranty, providing protection against defects in material or workmanship from a technical point of view for an additional 3 years, up to 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
- All factory-installed vehicle components are covered under the same principles as the Volkswagen manufacturer warranty.
- Coverage applies only to factory-installed parts and equipment.
- The EA9 Extended Warranty is valid worldwide, subject to local regulatory requirements and vehicle homologation in the respective country.
- Total vehicle coverage is extended to 5 years / 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
- No extension beyond 5 years or 150,000 km is possible.
- To ensure the validity of the warranty, maintenance services must be carried out at service intervals according to the Manufacturer's guidelines.
- The coverage is limited to vehicles sold and registered in Malaysia by authorised Volkswagen dealers.
- All warranties does not cover normal wear and tear, or damages caused by abnormally rough or improper use, or unauthorised modifications. If your vehicle does break down, please contact your preferred authorised Volkswagen dealers.
- The optional package is only applicable for vehicles registered after 1st January 2023 who have opted for the Volkswagen Assurance Package.
