KUALA LUMPUR - Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today launched the Golf R-Line to the Malaysian market, following its preview alongside the launch of the new Golf GTI last year.

As part of the launch special, the Golf R-Line is offered with an attractive early bird pricing of RM179,990 for the first 50 owners. This is inclusive of VAP which covers 5 years free maintenance, 5 years mileage warranty and 5 years complimentary roadside assistance.

The start of sales for the Golf R-Line further strengthens Volkswagen’s Golf line-up in Malaysia, complementing the performance-driven Golf GTI while offering customers a lifestyle-oriented alternative that balances comfort, versatility and dynamic presence.

The Golf R-Line offers mild-hybrid efficiency with its 1.5 eTSI (mHEV) turbo engine (150PS, 250Nm), contributing to better fuel economy and a more planted driving experience. A 7-speed DSG transmission ensures a smooth, effortless driving experience, synonymous with the Golf name.

The Golf R-Line rides on ‘Coventry’ alloy wheels – a newly introduced design to the Malaysian market.
