The hatchback class is a top priority at Volkswagen. No wonder, because the car, which gives the golf class its name, stands for timeless aesthetics, quality, value, elegance and grace.
Small but tough.
The latest Polo is a car that lives up to its legacy. And exceptionally well, at that. Its exhilarating power, and sporty design makes it a car truly deserving of its badge. It's a rare car that makes an all-round impression. A car that gives you that wonderful feeling. So much so, that you'll wonder if anything else feels that good.
Wishes do come true.
When we developed the Golf 7 we listened very carefully, we looked more closely than ever and asked even more questions. While doing that, we had only one thing in mind: a car that understands people best, that answers the questions of the future clearly and that still gives the name to an entire Class.
The Golf GTI
Often copied, never equalled.
There is only one GTI. But now it is in the 7th generation. In 1976 it was planned as a small limited edition in 5,000 copies, it then quickly became a big surprising success. And it can still stay true to itself in every detail. This means, it can accelerate even faster and can be even more fun. Simultaneously with its distinctive front with honeycomb structure, its sweeping side sills and the striking "GTI"-logo everything stays the same: just exceptional. The 18 inch light metal rims "Austin" unmistakably where it came from. And the 2.0-Liter-TSI-engine with 162 kW (220 hp) show where it wants to go.
