Volkswagen Group Malaysia Sdn Bhd was launched in Malaysia on 16 February 2006, with the Corporate Headquarters situated in Wisma Volkswagen, Bangsar. From here, communications, marketing, sales and after-sales of the brand and business is managed and steered to cater to the Malaysian customer’s wish for individual mobility in all situations of life.

Body Shop (Pekan, Pahang)
An commonsensical person with a keen eye for details will be perfect for this position, as the team member for Body Shop will need to analyse the causes of body shop assembly deviations and to provide solutions.

The candidate is expected to:

• Solve complex problems with respect to dimensional accuracy, fit and function in all manufacturing areas
• Analyze measurement reports and stamping part measurement reports
• Investigate root causes of problems through evaluation of measurement data and “hands on panel/fixture fit techniques”
• Develop new concepts to improve tooling and inspection devices

Assembly Shop (Pekan, Pahang)
The team member for Assembly Shop plays a vital role in the assembly process. The ideal candidate for this position needs to have a great knowledge in the production of tork equipments and automotive assembly shop production to analyse all production issues.

The candidate is expected to:

• Solve complex problems with respect to dimensional accuracy, fit and function in all manufacturing areas
• Analyze assembly part measurement reports
• Confirm assembly parts in regard to dimensional accuracy and consistency in the manufacturing process
• Develop “countermeasures” to resolve problems

Engineer
As the Engineer for the QOA Department, the ideal candidate needs to possess good management skills to ensure all transitions in the department and inter-department runs smoothly.

The candidate is expected to:

• Ensure Water Test, Drive Test & CP 8 are carried out as per production plan
• Provide inputs to the Section/ Division Head for achieving section goals
• Daily manpower planning, work allotment to Team Leaders
• Motivate the team

Sales Consultant (Dealership)
Strong communication and customer service skills are the hallmark of this position. Our ideal candidate will work with prospective customers by demonstrating the quality of our products and services, preparing the necessary sales documents and facilitating negotiations with the sales management and customers to close sales.

The Sales Consultant is expected to:

• Effectively assess customer needs and wants
• Understand the vehicle trade process
• Present product features, advantages and benefits
• Understand and explain Finance and Insurance (F&I) products

Technicians (Dealership nationwide)
Technical expertise and know-how are the cornerstone of every technician. Our ideal candidate will work under the general supervision of the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

The Technician is expected to:

• Perform primary duties of repairing and maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Operate a motor vehicle to assist with the business of the department
• Evaluate preventive maintenance schedules for Volkswagen vehicles
• Oversee, inspect, adjust and replace necessary units and related parts in the performance of the repair and maintenance work

Quality Assurance Engineers (Pekan, Pahang)
As our global representative, this candidate plays a crucial role in supporting the suppliers of the region in their process development with the goal of producing all components according to Volkswagen specifications.

The QA Engineer is expected to:

• Play an international role in maintaining intercompany contacts in Germany, India, Mexico and China
• Uphold quality in the supply chain, components, systems, logistics
• Improve the quality level of the local supplier base
• Approve and release parts for mass production as a core function
